I like the details, the little things that make my home is my home. Many are related to time or persons. I have in my kitchen porcelain jars and fruit Andalusian gave me my sister Naomi, a chicken in rustic wood my friend Flower, the beautiful game gave us coffee Ivan's grandmother when we got married, the "pear" cactus clay and my friend Neli (the cactus life passed away loooooooong years ago), a colorful cloth with crochet lace Dulce, a lady with a wonderful fairy hands for the work .. .
Now I have my friend Teresa beginning life in a new home, a little frightened by all the work involved again (boxes waiting to be saved, measure, order, place ...) but also excited to make this new house your home. I called the first night we spent there, the intimidated silence, I spoke with bare walls that must be filled, but I know she has loads of "details" waiting in those boxes, embroidered paintings by her, gifts themselves and others, who go about jumping from the boxes on the shelves, the shelves and walls wrapped in his own world and feel that this "new house" is "home."
Sometimes these details are great and costly, and sometimes they are small things, simple and delicious as this corazoncĂn. My close people know of my great fondness for things heart-shaped (pastry molds, boxes, embroidery etc ...). This corazoncĂn I found in one of the cross-stitch shops where I used to buy, there were all these accessories, had an oval, heart, etc ... It was a crush at the moment, I bought two, one is sewn to wipe this beautiful and I was rolling around, I took it out one afternoon, I chose the occasion of my dear JJ (Jeremiah Junction), the board and hooked it to a cork I have in the kitchen with notes, photos and reminders ... Years pass, and when I go on the run to the terrace and open the door, my gaze falls on the cork and heart, and embroidered in the beautiful cake and a wonder to me is excited to see ...
